The SMERU Research Institute is an independent institution that conducts research and public policy studies that provide accurate and timely information, as well as professional and proactive objective analysis of various social and economic problems and poverty that are considered urgent and important for the people of Indonesia. The entire work of The SMERU Research Institute leads to the main objective of encouraging the formulation of pro-poor policies at the national and regional levels through evidence-based research.
As the organization grows, SMERU wants to continue to improve its institutional governance. One of them is by perfecting the reference document or Standard Operating Procedure that has been held to remain relevant to the current condition of the institution.
Penabulu here served as a consultant for approximately five months. This assignment was carried out to review the SMERU Institutional SOP that had been prepared to be further refined with current conditions and needs.
Penabulu is expected to be able to facilitate the SMERU team discussions involved in this activity to improve the formulation of the SOP.
The output of this assignment is 5 (five) compilation of SOPs that are carried out together with Penabulu, namely:
- SOP of Administration
- SOP of Financial and Accounting Reports
- SOP of Personnel
- SOP of Information Systems, Technology and Publications
- SOP of Research
